DNF around 45%。 I watched the anime and loved it so I hoped the light novel would be much the same。 Unfortunately Myne is so unbearably whiny and annoying that I just didn’t have it in me。 If you like the concept but not the execution, just watch the anime instead。

I started this because of the anime, and it is leaps and bounds beyond what I expected。 I am so in love with this world and its characters。 As a fellow bookworm, Myne reminds me of little me。

Such a cute little manga! Being a librarian, I had no choice but to pick up this book。 Imagine being reincarnated as a 5 year old in a different time with NO books。 That's what happened to Myne。 Now she is on a quest to make her own books at any cost, and her family is growing suspicious of her sudden behavior change。And I thought *I* was obsessed with books。。。 Such a cute little manga! Cute beginning of a series but struggled to keep my attention。 Was hard to get into at times — felt more slice of life rather than plot driven。 It also reads somewhat mediocre and flat。 I feel like there’s a lot of missing elements that could have made the story more interesting…Honestly, the last 30 pages was more interesting than the entire book。 But perhaps it gets better in other volumes。 May try the manga or anime instead if I’m interested in seeing the rest of this story。

wonderful storyOverall I began reading this light novel after second anime season ended and the 3rd is about to begin。 Before that I have only read just 3 manga’s in the series。 After watching the promo for the third season it made me want to read the light novel。 I totally recommend。 It gives you more insight of the world and the characters。 I say give it a shot am definitely will be getting all of the light novels now to support this amazing world。 I hope we get all of the novels translated in wonderful storyOverall I began reading this light novel after second anime season ended and the 3rd is about to begin。 Before that I have only read just 3 manga’s in the series。 After watching the promo for the third season it made me want to read the light novel。 I totally recommend。 It gives you more insight of the world and the characters。 I say give it a shot am definitely will be getting all of the light novels now to support this amazing world。 I hope we get all of the novels translated in English and we get to see the completed web novel animated in general。 。。。more

I’ve read 15 books in this series and it’s hands down the best light novel out there。 Light Novel’s are usually fun reads but in no way quality but fun none the less for a rpg lover like me sadly most light novel’s suffer from sexist cliches but this series has none of them。 It’s also a series that’s not scared to change things up。

This book sets the pace right。 It builds the story and world slowly and shows evident loopholes that are most likely to be filled in the next books。I love a number of things from this book:First, the story building promises so much potential。 Though in this book the "normal" or probably the most familiar parts were shown, there is a promise of more - much more fantastical in the coming books。Second, how the story is narrated。 I'm not much into POVs before but this does it so well。 The mental ban This book sets the pace right。 It builds the story and world slowly and shows evident loopholes that are most likely to be filled in the next books。I love a number of things from this book:First, the story building promises so much potential。 Though in this book the "normal" or probably the most familiar parts were shown, there is a promise of more - much more fantastical in the coming books。Second, how the story is narrated。 I'm not much into POVs before but this does it so well。 The mental banters and struggles and even the internal comments made me guffaw more times than I could remember。Third, the descriptions。 The way things, sceneries, appearances and even events are described are in ways that could let me picture everything out perfectly。I love the additional POVs at the end too。 It makes me see things other than from Myne's perspective。I think after this book, Myne's love for books rubbed off me。 There's a joy in reading。 I'd love to read more and I hope Myne can read soon too!!P。S。 there are noticeable changes in anime compared to here but I love the anime and I love this too。 It doesn't affect much so I don't mind :)On to the next!! 。。。more

WowI bought the series from watching the anime。 I really enjoyed the more detail information about myne。 I liked the epilogue and a day without myne。 There's several characters that add to the story。 I'm hoping to see all of these characters show throughout the setiese。 WowI bought the series from watching the anime。 I really enjoyed the more detail information about myne。 I liked the epilogue and a day without myne。 There's several characters that add to the story。 I'm hoping to see all of these characters show throughout the setiese。 。。。more

I love Myne, she is a reincarnated bookworm who lives in a poor society and suffers from extreme illnesses。 She wants to have access to books, however she would have to be wealthy to gain access and read them。 She wants to introduce literacy to the low and middle class society。 She begins thinking of ways to make her own books, and knows there will be obstacles along the way。

I think this book isn't really for people who like only plot driven stories。 If you read this book and expect being slaped in the face with fantasy elements you won't have a lot of fun。 The book really takes it's time to build up the settings and characters and shows a lot of inner dialog of the main character。 I read this time at a time where I was stressed and felt kinda alone。 The book gave me the feeling of being relaxed and shows cute family moments。 I don't know if I would rate it less at I think this book isn't really for people who like only plot driven stories。 If you read this book and expect being slaped in the face with fantasy elements you won't have a lot of fun。 The book really takes it's time to build up the settings and characters and shows a lot of inner dialog of the main character。 I read this time at a time where I was stressed and felt kinda alone。 The book gave me the feeling of being relaxed and shows cute family moments。 I don't know if I would rate it less at a different pointin my life, but I just really enjoyed it! 。。。more

In truth, I couldn't quite deal with the story so I skimmed the last half。 I found Myne to be tedious and annoying and reading the book was like listening to a 5 year old tell a story。。。because that is exactly what it is。 Why Kazuki chose to have the potentially interesting premise of a world without books told through the eyes of a sickly child is beyond me。 In truth, I couldn't quite deal with the story so I skimmed the last half。 I found Myne to be tedious and annoying and reading the book was like listening to a 5 year old tell a story。。。because that is exactly what it is。 Why Kazuki chose to have the potentially interesting premise of a world without books told through the eyes of a sickly child is beyond me。 。。。more

Tätä sarjaa on pakko lukea lisää! 。。。more
